Role in project

Within RIMSAT Teradyne Diagnostic Solutions will act as a main software developer of the core knowledge technology.
Teradyne Diagnostic Solutions recognises the need for ongoing research and development of new tools and technologies in order to deliver the best in class solutions to their customers. It is this approach that has made Teradyne Diagnostic Solutions the worlds leading supplier of service bay diagnostic solutions.
The Software Engineering Group based in Manchester are the research team developing the next generation of software tools for the OEM service bay business. In particular the (code named) GRADE-X diagnostic authoring tool includes radically new approaches to the collection and collation of knowledge, attempting to integrate multiple reasoning approaches and deliver the service-centric results into dynamic and unreliable networks (such as the wireless internet). The goals of RIMSAT project form a small part of the developments necessary to complete this product.
