TMPL Consultants/Training is the trading style of The Management Process Limited, established in 1992 initially to provide consultancy
and training services to the public safety services in the UK. Since then its client base has greatly widened to include large government organisations such as the Ministry of Defence and Arts Council Of
England, a wide range of SME's in the public and private sector, and charities and not for profit organisations. It operates from two locations in the UK, with its core consultancy team - including
partners in Sweden and Germany - working telematically using leading edge collaborative and a decision making tools (which it also provides for its clients)
It has well established expertise in the
public safety sector, working with major urban and rural fire services in the UK and Sweden as well as the UK Ministry of Defence. This work has included management of change, research and development
into competencies for individuals, and developing training programmes at all levels. Research has included studies into competencies frameworks and hot fire (or real fire) training and simulation in the
UK and North America..

Role in project
|
Within RIMSAT, TMPL’s role is to act as a bridge between the user needs (in this project the Fire Services) and the
technology. It will be bringing its experience of working in the public safety services (PSS) and its knowledge of ICT, electronic performance support systems (EPSS) and Knowledge Management (KM) to the
team. It has a pivotal role in managing the collection of information about current practices and then in piloting the RIMSAT solution. TMPL is also responsible for project quality standards and much of
the application in training and dissemination of the outputs.
