First Annual CIM SIG Workshop
The first annual CIM SIG workshop held in Brussels on November 20th, 2003 was a huge success!  There were many excellent presentations on a variety of topics relating to Critical Incident Managment.  Five of these are available in .pdf format here. • National Mobile Data Project and National eFire Project
  Presentation by Garry Harney of the Greater Manchester Fire Service explaining the work conducted in the CACFOA Mobile Data Project and planned for the eFire project, both of which seek to prepare the fire service for improved collaboration, knowledge sharing, and access to information. • Conversational Dynamics of Situation Awareness
  Presentation by Dr. Chris Baber of Birmingham University introducing the concept of situational awareness and explaining how it can be taken into account in collaborative decision-making. (26-Nov-03)
• Management Culture as Cause of Disasters
  Chris Macrae explains how trust and other aspects of management culture can be essential to avoiding disasters such as those experienced by NASA. (26-Nov-03)
• RIMSAT - Remote Intelligent Management Support and Training
  Presentation by Martin Hunn of London Fire Brigade explaining the concepts, processes, and technology developed in the RIMSAT project. (26-Nov-03)
